Copper

Copper is a technical metal with an excellent combination of malleability, electrical and thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance, and low thermal expansion. It is produced by drawing, pressing, and rolling with dimensional tolerances without the need for additional material for machining.

The supplier program includes copper rods, tubes, strips, sheets, and wires.

Copper is available in a wide range of alloys, of which the most commonly used in industry are listed below along with examples of their applications.

Copper CuCr1Zr (CW106C) with the addition of chromium and zirconium has very high electrical and thermal conductivity and withstands high temperatures. It is used in resistance welding, electrode production, and electrical components. Round, square, and flat rods are readily available in stock.

Copper Cu - ETP (CW004A) is electro-conductive oxidized copper with a content of Cu ≥ 99.9E. It is commonly used in the electrical engineering industry or in the production of electric motors.

Copper Cu – DHP (CW024A) is oxygen-free copper, deoxidized with phosphorus, with a content of Cu ≥ 99.9E. It is mainly used in construction and engineering.

Copper CuCo2Be (CW104C) provides high electrical conductivity, tensile strength, and resistance to high temperatures. It is used, for example, in resistance welding.

Copper Cu – OF (CW008A) is oxygen-free copper with a content of Cu ≥ 99.99E. It boasts extremely high electrical conductivity, excellent corrosion resistance, and hydrogen embrittlement resistance. It is used for electrical and electronic applications, printed circuits, and telecommunications cables.
