Non-ferrous metals

Non-ferrous metals (non-ferrous metals) are used in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, the automotive industry and wherever the mechanical, physical and chemical properties of ferrous metals are no longer suitable. They are divided into heavy non-ferrous metals (copper, zinc, lead, nickel, tin, chromium, tungsten) and light non-ferrous metals (aluminium, magnesium, titanium alloys).

In our e-shop you can primarily buy these non-ferrous metals:

Copper

Copper means either pure non-ferrous metal or low alloy (or containing a residual proportion of other elements). For electrotechnical purposes, the purest possible copper is preferable in terms of conductivity, it is supplied in grades marked, e.g.: Cu- ETP (E-Cu57,E-Cu58). For many other technical purposes, deoxygenated Cu-OF copper with limited residual phosphorus content, usually referred to as Cu-DHP, is preferable.
We supply non-ferrous metal copper in round, square and hexagonal cross-sections, as well as wire, flat bars, plates and tubes.

Brass

Brass is a non-ferrous metal – an alloy of copper that contains from 5% to 40% zinc. It is available in a very wide range of shapes and sizes to minimise the cost of machining this non-ferrous metal to its final dimensions. Unlike mild steel, brass does not embrittle at low temperatures.
Brass also has excellent thermal conductivity, so it is preferably chosen for heat exchangers (radiators). Its electrical conductivity ranges from 23% to 44% of pure copper.
Brass is supplied in round, square and hexagonal cross-sections as well as wire, flat bars, plates and tubes. Non-ferrous brass metals can be supplied as profiles of special cross-sections such as L, I, U or general shapes according to the purpose and application.

Bronze

Bronzes are non-ferrous metals – an alloy of copper and tin. In addition to tin zinc, lead, iron, silver and, more recently, manganese are added. In a general sense, however, it is an alloy of copper and tin.
Bronze is supplied as sheets (strips) or bars of circular, square and rectangular cross-section, or as hexagon. The non-ferrous metal bronze has significant industrial uses.
